Dannie Formosa is a Psychic Medium and Psychic Investigator who has teamed up with S.C.I. Paranormal, to connect with spirit. The psychic gene runs in Dannie’s family and she has been practising her talent for over a decade. She is mainly clairsentient (feeling) and clairvoyant (seeing). I caught up Dannie and the team as they explored the haunted Campbelltown Theatre.
In the video interview with Dannie she talks about her role with the investigators – and whilst some psychics have an answer for everything Dannie is honest and lets people know if she cannot connect to spirit or get a connection.
At Campbelltown Theatre the team investigate paranormal activity but not every ghost tour makes it to the inside of the hall. It’s a functioning theatre and available dates are limited.
The Theatre stands on the land rented by George Worrall in 1826. Fredrick Fisher was living at George’s place at the time of his disappearance. George told everyone that Fred had returned to England. Four months later, a respected Campbelltown resident John Farley ran into a local tavern and announced he had seen a ghost of Fred pointing to a paddock down the creek. The police investigated. Fred’s body was found. And George was executed for his murder. In fact it was one of Australia’s first forensic cases – the police found blood and a tooth stuck in a fence post – it was the tooth missing from Fredrick Fisher’s corpse.
Psychic Investigator and Fisher’s Ghost
Over the years actors have experienced paranormal activity. They speak of a man sitting in one of the rows – in fact, there is a seat dedicated to Fred Fisher (far left front row). Children have also been seen on stage. Only the courageous will work in the theatre alone. But Dannie has no fear – she says a live person does us more harm than a spirit.
As a psychic investigator Dannie’s role is to explore any spirt communication. And on each tour she talks with groups of people who might be experiencing some from of presence. She’s an educator and is passionate about sharing her abilities.
