In the 70’s I read “The Third Eye” and “The Cave of the Ancients” by Lobsang Rampa. Listened to some friends and was saved into a new religion (but lost it a day later). Attended my first seance. Visited many graveyards. Family in Ireland died tragically.
In the 80’s I studied and traveled. I discovered I was more interested in people than landmarks – I visited ghost towns, more graveyards and listened to stories about spirits. I attended the Silva Life System Course, The Living Game Weekend and many Meditation courses. I learned that not being on the right path can cause major upheavals. And when we choose the right path or are forced to choose the right path doors seem to open by magic. Serendipitous moments became a “normal” part of my life.

All through the 90’s I traveled and worked in three different countries – in advertising agencies, television and radio stations and published a few books. I worked both sides of the camera and microphone. This decade was my first introduction to Buddhism and Hinduism as I traveled extensively. For four days I worked at the Vegetarian Festival in Phuket and witnessed trance mediums first hand.
In the 00’s many family and friends passed. Four friends took their lives through alcohol, drugs and depression. And my mentor, Gordon, passed to the next. I continued to work in the media. And introduced psychics on my weekly radio show. They fascinated me. Each week they’d turn up with their Tarot Cards, Angel Cards, Crystals, note pads and conduct live readings on air. A psychic medium told me she had a message from a family member – I told her I didn’t want it – I doubted her ability.
In the 10’s I continued to work in the media but on a lesser scale. My close friend and mentor Joyce passed to the next. Moved into film production and ran courses in media. This is the decade the Psychic Reporter was born. And life is still a wonderful adventure – traveling and discovering.

Through radio and television I have met scores of psychics and witnessed over 5,000 readings live on air. I have also presented events with psychics on stage. I learned what make a good psychic and what makes a bad one. This website is not about exposing bad psychics – it is about discovering what is happening in the psychic world and beyond.
Like all of us I have psychic ability – but I have not nurtured that side of my life. This website is about psychics – I am fascinated by them. They get admired, ridiculed and laughed-at but they continue to read and do their thing. They are not about proving themselves right – they just do what they feel they are chosen to do. Most psychics are women, and I admire their courage and strength. And the few men who choose this path have my admiration also.
As man becomes more and more “modern” are we moving further and further away from our spiritual side? I like to question my own beliefs – are they mine or are they my parents and teachers? Are my spiritual beliefs passed down or are they from within?
The Psychic Reporter is anonymous – he can never become more popular than the people he writes about. They are the focus and must always be.
What can you tell me about the Australian Spiritualist Association and Don Davis.
I met him at home in Kiama Downs in the 90’s and we had a good chat but he was very disappointed.
I founded the Aust Spiritual Assoc in 1990 and it too went downhill.
I am about to start the Aust Spiritual Alliance to hopefully achieve a Spiritual Fraternity advocate.
Facebook as Australian Spiritual Alliance.
Many thanks for your time. I don’t want to see Don’s History be forgotten.
