Some ask “who is my spirit guide?” but take it no further. I have asked many psychics and religious people this question over the years – and they all give me similar answers.
In times of despair or great elation I often speak to that invisible entity – am I being heard? I believe so – and I am not the only one who does. Napoleon Hill, one of the most influential authors of all time – in his book Think and Grow Rich, wrote of his “invisible counselors”. John Edward talks of his guides and how they help protect him. Psychic medium and channeller Marcia Quinton speaks of her guide “Red Feather”. Psychic Medium Amanda Roussety’s guide is “Bill”.
How to find your Spirit Guide
There is no rule book here and each of us has to learn and discover for ourselves. Below are some of suggestions psychic mediums have shared when asked – who is my spirit guide?
- Meditation – create a safe place in your mind. Bring yourself to a calmer vibration level. Try some slower, focused breathing to get into a nice space. Then ask for a name or ask your guides to appear.
- Dreams – before sleeping each night ask your guides for their names or a vision. Try the same question for a few nights. Make sure you write these dreams down in your dream journal.
- Ask a Psychic Medium – seek the services of an experienced psychic medium. They should be able to connect for you.
The hundreds of psychics I’ve interviewed over the years all assured me that each of us has a spirit guide. In fact more than one. One guide might be wonderful for love, another for relationships and another for family matters. If you find more than one guide don’t worry too much – it doesn’t mean you’re a tragic case who needs extra help. It means you’re one of the lucky ones who has re-discovered them.
Who is my Spirit Guide – Passed Family or Friends?
Some guides are with us for life. Others may pop in and out from time to time. Some psychics believe passed relatives are less likely to be our guides – others say it is likely. You will know if the spirit guide is right for you.
Who is my spirit guide? My mentor of many years, Gordon, passed away. In fact, I scattered his ashes in the Gulf of Thailand. He is still with me. I hear his voice. I sense his guidance. But, is that a memory or is it a spirit? I like to think he is one of my spirit guides – it fits very comfortably with me. But I would not seek his wisdom on matters I knew he had little knowledge of. I will utilize another guide for that purpose. I do not have a name for my spirit guide, or an image. But I do believe my guide is with me.
Importance of a Quiet Mind
We communicate better when we are peaceful – so let’s make it easier for the guides to talk to us (If I was a spirit guide I’d much prefer to talk when someone is peaceful and receptive). If someone is “off their head” it’d be difficult for a guide to offer guidance. And spirit guides are not about getting into arguments with us.
Who is my Spirit Guide? – if your endeavors are proving difficult just do some more research. You have to feel comfortable with the spirit guide you have – as they will be closer to you than your best friend.
In fact, your guide is with you right now.
